Players spent $219.3 million on sports wagers in Kansas in September. As a result, the state achieved a sports betting handle record for the month. In September, bets totaling $201.1 million were put online compared to $18.2 million in brick-and-mortar sportsbooks. It showed an increase in sports betting action.

Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway and Barstool remain the undisputed leaders in the retail sector. The total amount wagered by players was $16.0m, and the venue made $393,485. With a $1.2 million handle and $11,717 in revenue, Kansas Star and its FanDuel retail sportsbook came in a distant second.
Tax revenue for the state totaled $484,366 in October. This sum comprises retail taxes of $45,934 and internet sales taxes of $760,163.
